Description
We are seeking a strategic, creative sales leader who is driven by the unique opportunity to help build the next chapter of sports from the ground up. This is a role for someone who wants to do more than sell-it's about shaping what modern sports partnerships look like in an entirely new ecosystem. As Vice President, Business Development - Golf, you'll play a critical role in driving revenue across TGL, WTGL, and the broader TMRW Sports platform, bringing brands into one of the most innovative and future-focused platforms in sports today. You'll be at the center of a defining moment-helping to accelerate the rise of WTGL and the next era of women's sports, while building scalable partnerships that extend across leagues, formats, and audiences.
This is a hands-on, build-stage role that will own the full partnership lifecycle while creating first-of-their-kind, multi-platform deals that fuse live events, media, technology, and storytelling. Every partnership you build will help define what this platform becomes.
Responsibilities:
  • Build, manage, and convert a high-value pipeline of world-class brand partners across TGL and WTGL
  • Lead full sales cycle: prospecting, pitching, negotiation, and deal closure
  • Develop custom, integrated partnership platforms spanning league IP, media exposure, technology-driven experiences, and on-site activation
  • Position WTGL and the women's sports growth story as a compelling commercial opportunity, helping partners authentically invest in and scale within this space
  • Partner cross-functionally to package and monetize the broader TMRW ecosystem, ensuring partners benefit from multi-league and multi-platform exposure
  • Collaborate on prospecting strategy, leveraging data, insights, and market trends to identify high-impact targets
  • Lead proposal development and storytelling-translating new-to-market assets into clear, differentiated value propositions
  • Build strong internal alignment to ensure seamless handoff to Client Services and successful execution

Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience
  • 10+ years of full cycle sales experience within sports, sponsorship sales or live events
  • Proven success selling innovative, multi-asset partnerships (beyond a single team or property)
  • Strong comfortability and experience with B2B outreach
  • Experience working with premium brands, rights holders, or athletes to develop scalable commercial partnerships
  • Strong ability to craft and articulate a compelling brand and platform narrative
  • Experience leveraging data, technology, or emerging formats to unlock new revenue opportunities
  • Highly collaborative, relationship-driven leader with strong influencing skills
  • Thrives in fast-paced, build-stage environments
  • Solid organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize in an extremely fast-paced environment
  • Ability to frequently travel regularly domestically for client meetings and TMRW events

Preferred:
  • Experience working across golf, global sports properties, or emerging leagues
  • Background in media, agency, or brand-side partnerships
  • Experience in startup or high-growth environments
  • Exposure to women's sports, new leagues, or new-to-market commercialization strategies

You'll be successful if you:
  • Thrive in build-from-scratch environments and enjoy shaping both process and product
  • Are motivated by creating new categories and first-of-their-kind partnerships
  • Can seamlessly connect brand objectives to a multi-platform sports ecosystem
  • Bring a growth mindset around expanding access and diversity of partnerships and perspectives
  • Build strong internal relationships that enable best-in-class partner execution

Benefits:
  • Equity ownership opportunities to allow employees to share in the company's growth
  • Unlimited discretionary time off along with 15 paid holidays per year (including the week of Independence Day)
  • Comprehensive health insurance options, including a 100% contribution Employee coverage option
  • Additional employee and family insurance coverage options with company contribution, including dental and vision
  • FSA, HSA and DCHSA opportunities including contribution matches
  • Retirement options including traditional 401(k) and Roth IRA plans

*Benefits are subject to change at the company's discretion.
