🚨 Hiring: Electrical Engineer 4 – Product Development / Failure Analysis

Location: Mossville, IL

Work Model: On-site, Full-Time

Duration: 24 Months

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–4:00 PM

Travel: 0–25% as needed

We are looking for an experienced Electrical Engineer to support electronic hardware failure investigation, product development, and validation testing for a leading industrial equipment organization.

Key Responsibilities

  • Investigate production and field-returned electronic hardware and identify failure causes.
  • Execute validation testing for NTI/NPI/production parts.
  • Develop, review, and execute electrical/electronic test plans.
  • Perform hardware testing using power supplies, oscilloscopes, DMMs, and other lab equipment.
  • Analyze test results and communicate findings to cross-functional engineering teams.
  • Prepare detailed test reports and maintain accurate technical documentation.
  • Support electronics product development and verification/validation activities.
  • Maintain laboratory equipment, organization, and documentation.
  • Collaborate with global engineering teams, suppliers, dealers, and other technical groups.

Required Qualifications

  • 8+ years of relevant experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline preferred.
  • Strong experience in electronic hardware failure investigation and analysis.
  • Hands-on experience with electronic hardware testing and laboratory equipment.
  • Experience with test plan reviews, test report writing, and electronics product development testing.
  • Strong verbal and written communication, organization, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills.
