MaryJane's Diner is what happens when you take the classic American diner and turn it up to 11 - Southern California style. From crave-worthy breakfasts to delicious lunches and fun cocktails to mocktails, MaryJane's is center stage at Hard Rock Hotel San Diego, right in the heart of the Gaslamp Quarter.
This Comic-Con International, the energy will be off the charts - superheroes, celebrities, and fans everywhere - and we need temporary Kitchen Stewards to keep the good vibes (and great eats) flowing all week long!
Your Mission
As a Temporary Kitchen Steward, you'll be the behind-the-scenes backbone that keeps MaryJane's kitchen spotless, organized, and running smoothly during the busiest week of the year. You'll support our rockstar culinary team by maintaining cleanliness, washing dishes and equipment, and helping ensure every plate leaves the kitchen ready to wow our Comic-Con guests.
What You'll Do
✅ Wash and sanitize dishes, pots, pans, and kitchen equipment quickly and efficiently.
✅ Maintain clean and organized dish pit and back-of-house areas at all times.
✅ Assist with trash removal and recycling, keeping all areas safe and clutter-free.
✅ Restock and organize cleaning supplies and chemicals as needed.
✅ Support the kitchen and service team by stepping in wherever needed to keep the operation flowing smoothly.
✅ Follow all health, safety, and sanitation standards - because every detail matters!
You're a Great Fit If You...
Have previous stewarding, dishwashing, or back-of-house experience (preferred but not required).
Thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume environment and love working behind the scenes.
Are dependable, positive, and a team player who jumps in to help wherever needed.
Can handle standing for long periods and lifting up to 50 pounds.
Are available for full-time, flexible shifts during Comic-Con week, including early mornings, nights, weekends, and holidays.

Tu Misión
Como Kitchen Steward Temporal, serás la columna vertebral tras bambalinas que mantiene la cocina de MaryJane's impecable, organizada y funcionando sin problemas durante la semana más ocupada del año. Apoyarás a nuestro equipo culinario de rockstars manteniendo la limpieza, lavando platos y equipo, y asegurándote de que cada plato salga de la cocina listo para sorprender a nuestros huéspedes de Comic-Con.
Lo Que Harás
✅ Lavar y desinfectar platos, ollas, sartenes y equipo de cocina de manera rápida y eficiente.
✅ Mantener la zona de lavado de platos y las áreas de back-of-house limpias y organizadas en todo momento.
✅ Ayudar con la eliminación de basura y reciclaje, manteniendo todas las áreas seguras y libres de desorden.
✅ Reabastecer y organizar suministros y productos químicos de limpieza según se necesite.
✅ Apoyar al equipo de cocina y servicio colaborando donde se requiera para mantener la operación fluida.
✅ Seguir todas las normas de salud, seguridad y saneamiento - ¡porque cada detalle importa!
Eres el Rockstar Perfecto Si...
Tienes experiencia previa como steward, lavaplatos o en áreas de back-of-house (preferible pero no indispensable).
Prosperas en un ambiente dinámico y de alto volumen y te encanta trabajar tras bambalinas.
Eres confiable, positivo y un jugador de equipo que se involucra para ayudar donde sea necesario.
Puedes mantenerte de pie por períodos prolongados y levantar hasta 50 libras.
Tienes disponibilidad para turnos completos y flexibles durante la semana de Comic-Con, incluyendo mañanas tempranas, noches, fines de semana y días festivos.
