Job Title: Physician Assistant (PA)/Nurse Practitioner – VA Disability Assessments
Job Type: Contract / Part-Time / Full-Time Available
Job Description:
We are seeking a licensed Physician Assistant (PA) to perform Veterans Affairs (VA) disability compensation and pension (C&P) examinations. This position focuses on evaluating veterans for disability benefits and does not involve prescribing medication or providing ongoing treatment.
The provider will conduct medical assessments, review medical records, and complete VA disability questionnaires based on examination findings.
Responsibilities:

  • Perform VA disability compensation examinations
  • Review veterans’ medical history and records
  • Conduct physical assessments as required
  • Complete Disability Benefits Questionnaires (DBQs)
  • Document findings clearly and accurately
  • Submit reports within required timelines
Qualifications:

  • Active Physician Assistant license

  • NCCPA certification required
  • Minimum 1 year clinical experience preferred
  • Strong documentation and assessment skills
  • Ability to perform physical exams and medical evaluations
