Job description

Located in Plymouth, MN

Part Time or Full Time

Objectives of this role

Our new state-of-the-art facility is fun, growing, and locally owned! We have expanded our Veterinary Hospital to include Vet Partners Pet Retreat which offers training, grooming, boarding, and doggy daycare. We are looking for a responsible and reliable person to join our team. You would be able to create your own schedule! We are a Fear-Free facility that offers Sedated Grooms with the help of our veterinary team.

The new location has everything under one woof - Vet Partners Pet Hospital, Vet Partners Pet Retreat, and the Brew Park Plymouth - an indoor dog park with a restaurant and bar.

Responsibilities:

  • Grooming Dogs (Nail trims, ear cleaning, haircuts, bathe amp; blow dry, de-matting)
  • Intake and Discharge of clients/dogs
  • Managing reservations/schedule
  • Keep work space desk clean/organized
  • Rebook with owners to promote timely care of the pets coat

Preferred Skills amp; Qualifications

  • 2+ years of grooming experience is required
  • Must be 18 years or older
  • Good communication and clients service skills, in person and on the phone
  • Comfortable handling and working around animals
  • Reliability and timeliness
  • Cat grooming experience preferred but not required
  • Knowledge in breed standard grooms
