Job description

The CPM will be the single point of contact (POC) for the VERTEX program office and shall be responsible for supporting all contract/subcontract activities related to performance, financial/burn rate, schedules, personnel, training, security deliverables, and modifications. The CPM shall maintain regular communication with the Contracting Officer’s Representative (COR) and Government PM, keeping them informed of relevant contract-related information, especially significant risks and issues and the associated resolution plans and status. The CPM shall maintain ongoing subject matter expertise of relevant NGA programs, projects, and activities at both the programmatic and technical levels.


Responsibilities:   

  • Act as the primary liaison between the VERTEX program office, Contracting Officer’s Representative (COR), and Government Program Manager (PM), maintaining regular and clear communication.
  • Monitor and report on contract performance, financials, schedule adherence, personnel management, and training requirements.
  • Ensure timely submission and management of security deliverables and contract modifications.
  • Identify, document, and communicate significant risks and issues, including resolution plans and status updates to the COR and Government PM.
  • Maintain subject matter expertise in relevant NGA programs, projects, and activities at both programmatic and technical levels to inform decision-making and guidance.


Required Skills and Experience:

  • Active TS/SCI Security Clearance
  • Proven experience in program and contract management within a government or defense environment
  • Strong knowledge of contract performance monitoring, financial/burn rate tracking, schedule management, and personnel oversight
  • Familiarity with security compliance and government contract modifications
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to coordinate effectively with government stakeholders
  • Deep understanding of NGA programs, technical concepts, and programmatic processes
