Job description

When you join Verizon

At Verizon, we power and empower how people live, work and play by connecting them to what brings them joy. We do what we love - driving innovation, creativity, and impact in the world. What you'll be doing...
In your role as a Unified Communications (UC) and Contact Center (CC) solutions sales partner, you'll be finding the right technology to help large enterprise customers transform their communication infrastructure and elevate their customer experience (CX). But you'll be doing more than just providing phone systems-you'll help customers empower their hybrid workforces, streamline agent productivity, and build brand loyalty through seamless, AI-infused interactions.
  • Forging strong customer relationships with senior leaders and key influencers within large global accounts.
  • Evaluating and identifying gaps in customer communication workflows and agent performance.
  • Proposing tailored solutions such as CCaaS (Genesys, Webex), UCaaS, and AI-driven automation to address specific business challenges.
  • Handling all aspects of the sales cycle from initial discovery and solution architecture to closing and ensuring high satisfaction.
  • Partnering with internal resources and account teams to orchestrate complex, large-scale deals.

What we're looking for...
Selling runs in your DNA. You're up on the latest in cloud-based IP communications and know exactly how modern CX platforms can drive a competitive edge for your customers. You thrive in an environment where you get to combine people, technology, and strategic sales to solve "big picture" business problems.
You'll need to have:
  • Bachelor's degree or four or more years of work experience.
  • Eight or more years of relevant experience required, demonstrated through work and/or military experience, or specialized training.
  • Experience selling or consulting on complex IT or communication solutions.
  • Willingness to travel to meet with enterprise clients.

Even better if you have one or more of the following:
  • Experience presenting compelling business cases to C-suite buyers, particularly regarding digital transformation or CX ROI.
  • A deep understanding of the UC & CC landscape, including VoIP/PBX, SIP trunking, and cloud contact center platforms (CCaaS).
  • Proven success in selling complex managed solutions such as AI-driven CX, virtual contact centers, or global voice architectures.
  • A track record of meeting challenging sales goals and managing high-value, multinational accounts.
  • Technical proficiency in documenting customer needs and mitigating barriers to implementation.
  • Spanish language skills, which are desirable but not essential for the role.

Why Verizon?
If Verizon and this role sound like a fit for you, we encourage you to apply even if you don't meet every "even better" qualification listed above. We value diverse perspectives and are looking for innovators ready to connect the world.
Where you'll be working
In this mobile role, you'll primarily work from customer or field location(s), with occasional visits to a Verizon location for in-person training and meetings.
Scheduled Weekly Hours
40
Equal Employment Opportunity
Verizon is an equal opportunity employer. We evaluate qualified applicants without regard to veteran status, disability or other legally protected characteristics.
Benefits and Compensation
Our benefits are designed to help you move forward in your career, and in areas of your life outside of Verizon. From health and wellness benefit options including: medical, dental, vision, short and long term disability, basic life insurance, supplemental life insurance, AD&D insurance, identity theft protection, pet insurance and group home & auto insurance. We also offer a matched 401(k) savings plan, up to 8 company paid holidays per year and up to 6 personal days per year, paid parental leave, adoption assistance and tuition assistance, plus other incentives, we've got you covered with our award-winning total rewards package. Depending on the role, employees have the opportunity to receive compensation in the form of premium pay such as overtime, shift differential, holiday pay, allowances, etc. Newly hired employees receive up to 15 days of vacation per year, which grows with additional service. For part-timers, your coverage will vary as you may be eligible for some of these benefits depending on your individual circumstances.
