Job description

Fairbanks Morse Defenseย is seeking highly motivated Interns to join our team. As an Intern, you will be taking on impactful work, while engaging in dynamic learning experiences and working as a valued member of our team.

General internship requirements:

  • Legal authorization to work in the U.S. is required. Sponsorship for employment visas is not available for this job opening.
  • Must be willing to comply with pre-employment screening, including but not limited to, reference verification, post-offer drug testing, and background check
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office โ€“ Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook
  • Must have access to reliable transportation
  • Proficient in SolidWorks
  • Working knowledge of diesel engines
  • Working knowledge of manufacturing processes

What projects will this intern work on?

  • Completing Technical Input Responses for Navy Customers
  • Standardizing 48/60 Inspection Documents
  • Using Structured Problem Solving to Resolve Problems Related to Diesel Engines
