SUMMARY: The Programmer II will assist in the review, creation, modification and maintenance of software applications. Has knowledge of commonly-used concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field. Relies on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job. Works under the supervision of department personnel. Familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures. Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Ensures that company owned information technology resources are used in accordance with corporate standards.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Interacts with employees to resolve system issues.
  • Administers and supports areas of the mobile and web based software and its ancillary systems.
  • Assists in the creation of training material and or training support as it relates to technology and the systems used with the company.
  • 24x7 support, flexibility for night and weekend work as well as travel to satellite offices.
  • Develops new applications as identified by supervisor and management through packaged and customized applications.
  • Completes testing of applications, unit and system, engaging users as necessary.
  • Maintains and enhances existing applications and all internal systems assigned.
  • Responsible for creation and maintenance of system reports using standard SQL programming and report tools.
  • Experience working as part of a software development cycle including interfacing and coordinating work in the development, testing, and production environments.
  • Promotes responsible usage and care of corporate equipment.

QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED

  • Minimum 2 years’ experience coding user interfaces for Web, Mobile and Client applications and Web pages using .Net, C#, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, NodeJS, PHP, WP, Bootstrap.
  • Experience with SharePoint (MOSS) platform.
  • Experience with SQL Server, SQL and SQL Server Management Studio.
  • Effective communicator with proven leadership skills and abilities.
  • Ability to analyze, organize, prioritize, implement, and control business activities and transactions.

MINIMUM REQUIRED EDUCATION/TRAINING

  • Bachelor's degree and at least 2 years’ of experience in the field or in a related area.
