STATUS: FULL-TIME (NON-EXEMPT)

POSITION SUMMARY:
Events Team Member provides the first point of contact for all guests. Our Team Members are expected to provide excellent customer service by meeting customer expectations and cultivate memorable family experiences.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO THE FOLLOWING:
  • Perform operating procedures relating to events and programs
  • Act as a liaison between the venue and the guests
  • Provide superior customer service
  • Clean and organize designated areas for public use
  • Ensure proper set up and breakdown of equipment; sound systems, scoreboards, game fields, parking, gates, signage, tournament offices, locker rooms, restrooms, and other equipment/materials as needed
  • Properly operate cash registers and maintain proper cash handling procedures
  • Demonstrate ability to work closely with co-workers and park visitors
  • Knowledgeable in all Safety Procedures with the ability to execute procedures
  • Identify risk management opportunities
  • Conduct safety inspections and enforce all safety guidelines
  • Adhere to all facility and SFM policies and procedures
  • Adhere to all local, state, health and safety laws
  • Perform all duties as assigned by management

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Flexible work schedule (e.g., nights, weekends, holidays and long hours)
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize in a high-volume, fast-paced environment
  • Must work well with others
  • Must take personal initiative for the betterment of the team and facility
  • Commitment to the safety and well-being of others

WORKING CONDITIONS AND PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
  • Must be able to lift 40 pounds waist high
  • May be required to sit or stand for extended periods of time both indoors or outdoors, and squat, stoop or bend
  • Must be able to work in varying weather conditions
  • Facility has intermittent noise
