Job description

Setup Team Lead Responsibilities:

The Setup Team Lead will be responsible for overseeing the event setup execution, communicating setup plans to the team, ensuring spaces are completed correctly and helping manage weekly event flow between the Pavilion and County Line Orchard. The Setup Team Lead would also assist with completing inventory for weekly ordering. The Setup Team Lead reports directly to the Director of Events.


Setup Team Lead duties will include, but are not limited to:

  • Reviewing event packets and setup diagrams
  • Creating a weekly setup plan based on event volume, locations, timelines and turnaround
  • Communicating setup expectations to the setup team
  • Leading and assisting with table, chair, linen, place setting, room setup, drapery setup and donut favors
  • Ensuring setup is completed accurately before Venue Coordinator arrival or client arrival
  • Coordinating deliveries
  • Ensuring setup equipment, carts, tables, chairs and storage areas are organized and reset
  • Communicating supply or inventory concerns to Events Department
  • Delegating work to setup team during high-volume weekends
  • Assisting with quick flips, room resets, ceremony-to-reception transitions and other event flow needs
  • Completing final setup walk-through before handoff to Venue Coordinator
  • Assisting with weekly inventory to support weekly ordering
  • Setting tables and chairs for all event spaces
  • Moving and organizing tables, chairs, carts and setup equipment
  • Dropping linens
  • Setting place settings and ceremony spaces
  • Assisting with airwall draping and bagging and stickering donut favors
  • Completing room resets between events
  • Assisting with quick flip or room changes
  • Returning setup items to proper storage locations


Experience/Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Must have or be willing to obtain a forklift certification


Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with events set-up


Hours:

The Setup Team Lead is a part time position and hours are not guaranteed with flexible schedule including nights and weekends
