Description
The Old Spaghetti Factory has an Immediate Opening for an Assistant Kitchen Manager to Join our Team!
The Assistant Kitchen Manager supports the overall operation of the kitchen by ensuring food quality, consistency, and efficiency. They assist in supervising kitchen staff, coordinating daily prep and service, and maintaining cleanliness and food safety standards. This role helps manage inventory, control costs, and enforce recipes and procedures while stepping in to lead shifts as needed. The Assistant Kitchen Manager works closely with the Kitchen Manager to develop team members, uphold standards, and deliver a high-quality dining experience.
Pay Details:
  • Starting Payrate: $20.00-$22.00 per hour.
  • Starting Payrate is determined and based on years of experience and/or education.

What You Will Do:
  • Assist the Kitchen Manager in maintaining high standards for food prep and presentation and ensuring quality and cleanliness.
  • Provide coaching and training to develop skills and knowledge of kitchen staff.
  • Follow and maintain proper sanitation, health regulations and food safety standards.
  • Assist the Kitchen Manager with the daily running of the kitchen for smooth, efficient service.
  • Ensure proper recipes, portion sizes and ingredients are followed to adhere to standards and expectations.
  • Assist with leading shifts, managing inventory and cost control.

Who We are Looking for:
  • 6-12 months of experience working in a kitchen enviroinment.
  • Strong work ethic and team player.
  • Knowledge and understanding of standard kitchen operations, food safety and sanitation regulations.
  • Excellent verbal communication and problem solving skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a safe, clean, organized kitchen.
  • Ability to stand, walk bend, reach, grip throughout full shift and lift up to 50lbs.
