Primary Function:

Mange the movement, tracking, and scheduling of vehicles throughout the plant.

Scope of Work:

This position administers all vehicle coordination functions within the plant. This position is also responsible for ensuring excellent internal and external customer experience. The Vehicle Coordinator will report to the Supply Chain Manager.

Certification Requirements:

Forklift Certification Required (can be attained on the job)

Core Job Responsibilities:

  • Coordinating vehicle deliveries, pickups, and transportation schedules.
  • Tracking vehicle status and location throughout the production, service, or delivery process.
  • Communicating with customers, transport companies, vendors, and internal departments regarding vehicle timelines and updates.
  • Maintaining accurate vehicle records, including VINs, transportation documents, and inspection reports.
  • Conducting or coordinating vehicle check-in and check-out inspections and documenting any damage.
  • Ensuring vehicles are properly staged and prepared for production, service, or customer delivery.
  • Managing inventory of all vehicles on-site.
  • Generating reports related to vehicle inventory, movement, transportation costs, and delivery performance.
  • Ensure process discipline to Standard Operating Procedures within Supply Chain and Order Management Systems.
  • Approach all internal customer requests and scenarios with a ‘can-do’ attitude.
  • Maintain working knowledge of ERP and Scheduling tools.
  • Always maintain safe and smart work practices.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
