Job description

Are you someone who enjoys hands-on work, troubleshooting equipment, and keeping operations running smoothly? Ag Processing Inc. (AGP) is looking for a motivated, dependable Maintenance Technician to join our team in Aberdeen!

In this role, you'll help maintain facility equipment and complete repairs efficiently while minimizing downtime and supporting production operations.

What You'll Do

  • Monitor, repair, and maintain plumbing, pipefitting, and gearboxes throughout the facility

  • Perform welding, torch, and plasma cutting to complete repairs

  • Complete daily paperwork, equipment inspections, and locate parts for departments as needed

  • Troubleshoot electrical issues and complete repairs when appropriate

  • Maintain plant sanitation standards

  • Perform additional duties as assigned

What We're Looking For

  • High School diploma or equivalent

  • Experience in a mechanically related field preferred

  • Ability to read and understand computer printouts and equipment specifications

  • Experience operating forklifts, bobcats, and end-loaders

  • Skilled with hand tools, including drills, hammers, screwdrivers, and pliers

  • Strong communication and teamwork skills

  • Excellent time management and organizational abilities

  • Ability to pass a pre-employment physical and drug screen
