Job description

Job Location:  Vidalia, GA or Savannah, GA / On the Road

The Support Technician is an entry-level position. The candidate will assist more senior technicians with installations and/or servicing of residential and/or commercial customers as required.  Responsibilities also include a willingness and ability to learn, organizational skills and effective communications. 

Responsibilities:

  • Assist Experienced Technicians with Installations and/or Servicing:
    • Demonstrate the ability to learn and retain information for future use.   
    • Employ basic logic skills and ability to walk through a simple issue to resolution. 
    • Utilize hand tools and basic power tools. 
    • Keep job site clean & organized so work can be performed in the safest manner possible, and tools and equipment can be found quickly. 
    • Interact with and communicate with peers, manager, and customers effectively.

Qualifications:

  • Education/Experience:
    • High School Diploma or equivalent. No industry experience - Required
    • Receives skills and training from management, peers, and training curriculum. 
    • Certification/License:
      • Must possess a valid driver’s license.
    • Communication:
      • Must be able to effectively communicate with various individuals in a professional manner in order to provide superior customer service.
    • Technical:
      • Must be able to understand technical functionality of various systems learned on-line and/or via hands-on instruction.
