We are seeking a skilled VDI engineer to design, implement, and manage virtual desktop infrastructure (VDI) solutions that deliver a seamless and secure user experience. The candidate will have expertise in VDI technologies, cloud computing, and virtualization, with a strong focus on delivering high-performance, scalable, and secure solutions. Responsibilities will include: * Integrating VDI solutions with cloud services (e.g. AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) for hybrid or cloud-native deployments.
* Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure VDI solutions meet application and user requirements.
* Troubleshooting and resolving complex VDI-related issues, working closely with vendors and internal teams as needed.
* Developing and maintaining documentation for VDI infrastructure, including design documents, configuration guides, and troubleshooting procedures.
* Staying up-to-date with emerging VDI and cloud technologies, and recommending new solutions or features to improve the existing infrastructure. ABC
#LI-EE1 Required Education, Experience, & Skills * Bachelor's degree in a technical field and a minimum of 11 years of work experience. * Experience with VDI solutions such as Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops. * Strong understanding of hypervisors like Microsoft Hyper-V, AHV, VMware ESXi, or general VM hosting. * Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud, including IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS offerings. * Familiarity with networking protocols, firewalls, and load balancers. * Experience with scripting languages such as PowerShell, Python, or Bash, and automation tools like Ansible or Terraform. * Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to troubleshoot complex issues and optimize VDI performance. * Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams. Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills * Relevant certifications such as Citrix CCA, AWS Cloud Practitioner, or Microsoft MCSE. * Experience with cloud-based VDI solutions such as VMware Cloud on AWS or Citrix Cloud, as well as Nutanix cloud infrastructure. * Knowledge of security best practices and technologies, including identity and access management (IAM), encryption, and threat detection. * Experience with monitoring and analytics tools such as Citrix Director or Nutanix Prism. * Familiarity with Agile development methodologies and DevOps practices, including continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD). * Experience with multiple VDI platforms and the ability to evaluate and recommend new solutions. Full-Time Salary Range: $149603 - $254317 Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
