Job Description
  • Develop custom solutions using Microsoft BI Stack (SSIS, SSRS)

  • Develop, support, and maintain ETL solutions to accommodate a data warehouse

  • Work with Excel, Power Pivots, or VBA to provide various automation and analytic solutions

  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, adept at identifying root cause and championing solutions

  • Create and maintain requirement documentation, requirements analysis, requirements status reporting

  • Coordinate internal and external resources to accomplish requirements objectives, including requirements change management

  • Work multiple projects concurrently and shift priorities as required to meet business requirements and deadlines

  • Prepare and present requirements status/issues to project manager

  • Second line of support for various internal and 3rd party systems

  • Interact with users and 3rd party vendor Helpdesk to raise and resolve issues and deploy solutions

  • Minimal off hours support

Qualifications

Requirements

  • Must have at least four (4) years of experience designing, developing, testing and implementing ETL solutions. (Specifically Microsoft SSIS)

  • Excellent T-SQL skills including stored procedures, functions, & views

  • Bachelor's degree (or equivalent work experience or specialized training) in Information Technology (IT), Computer Science (CS), Software Engineering, or related discipline

  • Must be able to work both independently and as a team member, support several projects simultaneously and prioritize effectively

  • Experience working in a fast pace agile environment

  • Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks while under pressure

  • Excellent listening, interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills

  • Ability to document requirements, processes and functional specification using Visio

  • Some experience with VB.NET, and SSAS is a plus Familiarity with Trading and back office accounting, and finance software operations is a plus
