Job Description
The Warehouse Supervisor is responsible for overseeing daily warehouse operations, ensuring efficient execution of Value-Added Services (VAS), managing Warehouse Associates, coordinating customer-specific requirements, and supervising Material Handling Equipment (MHE) drivers. This role ensures operational excellence, safety compliance, inventory accuracy, customer satisfaction, and productivity targets are consistently achieved.
YOUR TASKS
  • Supervise daily warehouse activities to ensure safe, efficient, and accurate operations.
  • Monitor workflow and allocate labor resources to meet operational demands.
  • Ensure adherence to company policies, procedures, and customer requirements.
  • Maintain warehouse organization, cleanliness, and compliance with safety standards.
  • Oversee all VAS activities including labeling, kitting, repacking, bundling, sorting, and special customer projects.
  • Ensure VAS work is completed accurately and within customer timelines.
  • Monitor productivity and quality metrics for VAS operations.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and cost reduction.
  • Directly supervise Warehouse Associates, URs (Utility Resources), and MHE drivers.
  • Provide coaching, training, and performance feedback to team members.
  • Conduct daily shift meetings and communicate operational priorities.
  • Manage attendance, scheduling, and employee performance issues.
  • Foster a positive work environment focused on teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement.
  • Serve as the primary operational contact for customer-specific tasks and requests.
  • Ensure customer requirements, service level agreements (SLAs) with Customer inquires, and quality expectations are met.
  • Proactively resolve service issues and communicate operational updates.
  • Support customer audits and operational reviews.
  • Supervise forklift, reach truck and other MHE operators.

Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, or related field preferred.
  • 3+ years of warehouse or distribution center experience.
  • 1+ years of supervisory or team leadership experience preferred.
  • Experience managing VAS operations and customer-specific projects.
  • Experience supervising MHE operators and warehouse personnel.
  • Knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS).
  • Knowledge of inventory control and warehouse best practices.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
