  • Database PLSQL Developer (Sales Planning, Incentive Comp & Oracle Application)
  • 2 weeks a month travel required to Austin TX (Client will take care of the expenses)
Overview

We are seeking a skilled Database PL/SQL Developer to design, develop, and optimize data solutions that support business-critical applications, with a strong focus on Sales Planning and Incentive Compensation systems. The ideal candidate will be proficient in Oracle PL/SQL development and experienced in building and maintaining complex data models, ETL processes, and performance-tuned queries.


Key Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, and maintain PL/SQL procedures, functions, triggers, and packages for data processing and integration.

  • Work closely with Sales Operations, Finance, and Compensation teams to translate business requirements into scalable database solutions.

  • Support and enhance Sales Planning and Incentive Compensation (ICM/Xactly, Varicent, or similar) data models and workflows.

  • Develop and optimize ETL processes for loading and transforming data between internal systems and third-party applications.

  • Ensure data quality, consistency, and accuracy across all systems and reports.

  • Collaborate with application developers and business analysts to improve system performance and data accessibility.

  • Troubleshoot and resolve database performance issues and data integrity concerns.

  • Document system designs, data models, and database processes following internal standards.


Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field (or equivalent work experience).

  • 5+ years of experience as a Database Developer with strong hands-on Oracle PL/SQL skills.

  • Proven experience in database design, query optimization, and performance tuning.

  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
