Our headquarters are in Leiden, the Netherlands, but we have subsidiaries and branch offices in the USA, Japan, Germany, France and the United Kingdom, as well as distributors and local agents in multiple countries.

What will your role be?

As our Sales Director, you will be responsible for maximizing order intake, sales and customer satisfaction, while developing strong customer relationships and ensuring long‑term account profitability. You will create and implement the regional sales and channel partner strategy, including the sales plan, sales forecasts and achievement of sales targets and commercial objectives.

You will manage key account relationships at multiple levels, including executive‑level interfaces, and work with channel partners where required. You will maintain Salesforce CRM, analyze win & loss deals, customer satisfaction, market developments, competition and trends, share customer feedback within Medis, and coordinate with operations, marketing and product specialists to ensure delivery to the customer. You will also represent Medis at trade shows, on‑site demonstrations and presentations.

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in biomedical imaging, IT, business administration or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in sales or account management, preferably in Healthcare, Medical Devices, Medical IT, imaging, hospitals, clinics, cardiology, radiology or a complex B2B environment.
  • Knowledge of complex market/channel structures.
  • Experience in leading teams directly or by influence.
  • International business experience.
  • Experience with CRM systems, preferably Salesforce.
  • Ability to travel frequently across the assigned territory.
