What is a Valve job?

A valve job is a process in engine maintenance where the cylinder head's valves, valve seats, and other components are cleaned, resurfaced, or replaced to restore proper engine performance. This procedure helps ensure a tight seal between the valves and the combustion chamber, preventing leaks and maintaining compression. A valve job typically includes inspecting for wear, grinding or replacing valves, and reseating them to improve efficiency.
