What is a Valve job?

A valve job is a process in engine maintenance where the cylinder head's valves, valve seats, and other components are cleaned, resurfaced, or replaced to restore proper engine performance. A valve job typically includes inspecting for wear, grinding or replacing valves, and reseating them to improve efficiency. It is often necessary when an engine experiences power loss, rough idling, or excessive oil consumption.
