Onsite - Buffalo, NYIndustrial Group specializes in developing custom hydraulic and electromechanical precision motion control solutions. Our current customer base includes flight simulation, oil and gas exploration, and custom hydraulic and electro-mechanical solutions. The position is geared toward technical career ladder advancement. This necessitates innovating technical solutions with the goal of accelerating product platforms into diverse markets.
As a Value Stream Manager I, you will be responsible for overseeing all operations-related activities within the newly created Data Center Cooling Pump value stream. You will report directly to the ICD Operations Director and work on-site in East Aurora, NY.
As a Value Stream Manager I, you will......
  • Lead the overall Value Stream operations and Value Stream Improvement Plan (VSIP). Provides customer support as needed.
  • Maintain and/or improving all aspects of operational performance within the value stream including safety, quality, delivery, inventory, etc.
    • Including financial performance of the value steam
  • Create a culture of continuous improvement, team problem solving and a learning organization.
    • Implementing standard work to improve the internal processes to support the needs of the value stream.
    • Ensuring there is a highly visual management system within the value stream.
  • Ensure high visibility to employees, by holding regular team meetings, provide coaching, information, ideas, feedback and encouragement to team leaders, associates and the site to promote growth and development of the value stream team.
  • Plan adequate capacity and resources to achieve operational goals.
  • Provide regular performance feedback to team members.

To be considered for the Value Stream Manager role, here's typically what you'll need to bring with you....
  • Bachelor's degree in technical or business discipline (or equivalent)
  • A minimum of 5 years' experience in a related operations role within a manufacturing environment
  • Strong relationship-building skills with both internal and external customers.
  • A proven track record of driving results and improving business performance.
  • Demonstrated success in leading change, managing ambiguity, and influencing others to achieve successful outcomes.
  • Demonstrated experience implementing lean production, process improvement tools, Kaizen, LMS, etc.
  • Experience providing employees with effective feedback, coaching, and development.
  • Strong leadership and team-building skills, as well as excellent communication abilities at all levels, both internally and externally.
  • Demonstrated business and technical acumen, with the ability to engage the right organizational resources to resolve customer problems efficiently.

Salary Range Transparency:
Buffalo, NY $105,000.00-$125,000.00 Annually

Actual salaries will vary depending on factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance. The range(s) listed is just one component of Moog's total compensation package for employees.
