This position designs, develops, implements and maintains business solutions. The incumbent works directly with stakeholders to identify requirements and manage end-to-end projects. The Business Analyst role supports the department in the evaluation and implementation of methods to improve efficiency, streamline processes, and keep projects and tasks on schedule. This position is not responsible for providing care to patients.

Responsibilities
Essential Functions
  • Leverage data in order to conduct comprehensive analyses, data mine, identify benchmarks and trends.
  • Collects project requirements to develop detailed functional specifications and project plans.
  • Provides suggestions and guidance during development stage in order to meet business needs.
  • Meets regularly with the team to facilitate and prioritize multiple projects.
  • Conduct analyses of information to produce results and identify solutions to complex problems.
  • Identify trends and performance levels for integrations metrics based on established benchmarks or design and create tables, graphs, charts and diagrams to support analytics and develop a platform for change.
  • Analyze information to produce results and identify solutions to complex problems.
  • Report status on projects and timelines for analytics.
  • Works with large and complex data sets and run scenarios using analytic tools.
  • May review contracts to prevent potential disputes and financial risks.
  • May analyze contract clauses, stipulations, obligations and liabilities.
  • May recommend and draft contract provisions and amendments.
  • May review contract terms and conditions.
  • May ensure contract terms comply with legal requirements and policies.
  • May advise internal departments on contract compliance.
Knowledge / Skills / Abilities
  • Ability to manage multiple projects at once.
  • Ability to analyze and document complex business processes.
  • Ability to think analytically and offer guidance to the team regarding business solutions.
  • Ability to gather and interpret relevant data and information.
  • Ability to prepare written and verbal communications for projects.
  • Demonstrated human relations and effective communication skills.

  • Experience with Word and Excel (ability to create pivot charts, v-lookups, diagrams, graphs etc.) needed.

Qualifications
Required
  • Bachelor's degree in a related area or equivalency.

Qualifications (Preferred)
Preferred
  • Experience with data visualization and operational reporting including Tableau and Power BI.
  • Strong SQL server coding and SSIS package development skills.
