This role is primarily remote, allowing for flexibility and a balance between professional and personal life. As part of a vibrant community health clinic, you will have the chance to collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of professionals, including psychiatrists, psychologists, and case managers. As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, your responsibilities will include:

• Conducting thorough assessments and screenings to identify clients' mental health issues and formulate appropriate treatment plans.
• Developing individualized therapy programs that address the unique goals, challenges, and circumstances of each client.
• Facilitating evidence-based individual and group therapy sessions, applying therapeutic methodologies that resonate with clients.
• Collaborating with other mental health professionals to deliver seamless care, ensuring comprehensive treatment that addresses all aspects of client well-being.
• Educating and providing support to clients’ families throughout the therapy process, enhancing their understanding of mental health challenges and recovery paths.
• Maintaining accurate and confidential client records while adhering to regulatory and ethical standards in a remote work setting.

Your primary focus will be on individuals and families experiencing diverse mental health issues, including, but not limited to, anxiety, depression, communication barriers, and relationship challenges. With a holistic approach, you will strive to empower clients to overcome obstacles and achieve fulfilling lives through quality care and support.

We are looking for candidates who possess the following qualifications:

• A current and valid state license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).
• A Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a closely related field.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, enabling the establishment of trusting and supportive therapeutic relationships with clients.
• A sincere empathy, compassion, and a nonjudgmental mindset when working with clients facing challenges.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills to effectively manage workload and administrative tasks in a remote capacity.

While not mandatory, preferred candidates will have previous experience in a therapeutic role within a community health setting, with specific expertise in evidence-based therapeutic techniques. Experience working with diverse populations and complex family dynamics is highly valued.
