Join Our Team at Valley-Wide Health Systems, Inc.
Valley-Wide Health Systems is seeking a compassionate and skilled Dentist to provide high-quality, comprehensive dental care to patients in our clinic. This role supports our mission by delivering patient-centered dental services, promoting oral health education, and contributing to the overall well-being of the communities we serve. The Dentist works collaboratively with dental and medical teams to ensure safe, effective, and accessible care for individuals across the lifespan.
Key Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality, compassionate dental care, including diagnosis, treatment planning, and delivery of general dentistry services such as preventive care, operative dentistry, periodontics, prosthodontics, and oral surgery; refer patients as appropriate.
  • Deliver emergency dental care during designated walk-in hours or as needed.
  • Develop and implement treatment plans in accordance with ADA guidelines and best practices.
  • Coordinate dental clinic operations and programs in collaboration with the Dental Director and other departments.
  • Participate in continuous quality improvement initiatives and comply with infection control standards, OSHA guidelines, and regulatory requirements.
  • Adhere to all federal, state, and Colorado State Dental Board rules and regulations.
  • Participate in conferences, meetings, and professional development activities as assigned.
  • Support dental education efforts by participating in student externship and residency programs, including mentoring and co-signing charts as designated.
  • Contribute to the evaluation and supervision of dental support staff, hygienists, dental assistants, and students/residents as assigned.
  • Complete clinical administrative duties, documentation, peer reviews, and related activities necessary for comprehensive patient care.
  • Provide dental services at assigned locations; travel between sites may be required.
  • Perform supervisory duties as assigned by the Dental Director.

Requirements
  • DDS/DMD license active in Colorado.
  • BLS Certification, current unrestricted DEA issued in CO
  • Complete CE requirements per Colorado State Board
  • Completion of residency program or one-year previous experience in practice of dentistry preferred
  • Ability to work in a team environment. Sensitive to low-income, ethnic, minority community
  • Excellent interpersonal and communications skills
