Job Summary:
The primary focus of a Lab Technician is to analyze products from compressed gas packages and/or processes and certify individual critical contaminant levels as specified within customer specifications. The Lab Technician shall operate different analytical instruments according to Standard Operating Procedures and Validation Methodology to achieve this goal.

Principal Responsibilities:
• Contribute to our industry-leading safety record.
• Ensure timely throughput of product through lab work queue and assure paperwork is accurate.
• Comprehensive familiarity with the Lab Scope and all associated lab documentation and procedures.
• Operate required analytical instrumentation (GC's, FTIR's, process analyzers, standard blenders, etc.). Effectively utilize GC and FTIR Computer software to interpret and accurately report data.
• Report problems with analytical instrumentation to Lab Supervisor and Lab Chemist and assist in subsequent repairs.
• Accurately input and document analytical data into all necessary analytical and plant process logs including TLIMS software.
• Strictly adhere to all necessary calibration requirements within all lab operations.
• Assure accurate reporting of data onto customer COA's and COC's.
• Ensure compliance with the formalized written PPE program for all laboratory activities.
Required Skills:
• Willing and able to work in a highly structured work environment with regard to safe and consistent conformance to operating procedures and work practices.
• Exemplify safe behaviors and maintain awareness of unsafe conditions or other hazards.
• Ability to work efficiently in a team environment both within the lab and as a critical member of the production processing of high value compressed gas packages.
• Aptitude for scientific learning and ability from prior work experience or educational training
• Intermediate computer skills and technical aptitude
• Aptitude to perform intermediate mathematical calculations and unit conversions
Basic Qualifications:
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Ability to lift 50 - 70 lbs
