Job description

The Window Cleaning Technician is responsible for performing exterior window cleaning and pressure washing services for commercial properties. This role involves using specialized tools, equipment, and cleaning solutions to ensure windows and building surfaces are thoroughly cleaned and maintained to a high standard.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Clean exterior windows using brushes, sponges, cloths, and professional-grade cleaning solutions
  • Remove water and residue from glass surfaces using squeegees and drying cloths for a streak-free finish
  • Operate high-pressure washing equipment to clean building exteriors and assigned surfaces
  • Safely access windows using rope descent systems, scaffolding, ladders, or extension poles
  • Reach windows up to 500 feet using rope systems or scaffolding when required
  • Use and maneuver extension poles (up to 60 feet, approximately 25 lbs.) to clean upper-floor windows from the ground
  • Set up, position, and climb ladders to access second- and third-story windows
  • Handle and transport cleaning solutions, including mildly abrasive chemical agents such as chlorine and ammonia
  • Follow all safety procedures and company guidelines while working at heights and with equipment
  • Maintain equipment and ensure all tools are used properly and stored safely
