What You Will Be Doing:

The CRS Rental Manager ensures that stores are efficient, profitable, and customer-focused.  Managers consistently meet the needs of construction companies, industrial and commercial customers, and homeowners. As leaders, they are responsible for making decisions about staffing, fleet mix, budgets, equipment rental and sales.

Primary Responsibilities:
  • Ensure a high level of customer service is at or above the location’s goal for all employees of the branch
  • Continue to increase the market penetration of the branch and increase revenue
  • Complete performance reviews on staff and hold a meeting with the individual to discuss strengths and weaknesses
  • Hold monthly safety meetings to ensure that all employees understand the safety culture of the branch.
  • Handle or assist in the resolution of customer service issues
  • Review all contracts generated on a daily basis
  • Daily assess the need of fleet additions or subtractions ensuring that the location has the proper fleet mix.
  • Assist in debt collections either by phone or in person visits.
  • Interview, hire, and train employees; plan, assign, and direct work; apprise performance; reward and discipline employees; address complaints and resolve problems.
Additional Responsibilities:
  • Participate in required safety program, and work in a safe manner
  • Complete additional tasks as assigned by management
Who We Are Looking For:

To be successful in this position you should have prior experience in operations management, business planning, or a sales support management role. This position also requires someone who has detailed understanding of financial and operational metrics, and the ability to impact them.

Education/Experience:
  • High school diploma or equivalent
Required Qualifications/Skills:
  • 3-5 years in operations management, business planning, or sales support management role.
  • Previous experience and demonstrated success in team leadership and leader development
  • Deep understanding of the Rental industry
  • Detailed understanding of financial and operational metrics, and the ability to impact them
  • Experience successfully managing analytically rigorous corporate initiatives.
  • Leadership/Vision/Competitiveness/Drive
  • Strong accountability and initiative
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Advanced problem solving capabilities
  • Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record
Preferred Qualifications/Skills:
  • Bachelor’s Degree from a four year college or university or related equivalent experience preferred
  • Knowledge of Spanish language preferable but not required.
