Position Announcement
Supports the CHSS Marketing & Communication Manager by creating engaging content and stories that highlight CHSS students, faculty, and programs, while gaining hands-on experience in marketing, communications, and digital storytelling.
Work from home: Not eligible
Hours: Part-time, 10 hours per week
Summary of Responsibilities
  • Content creation & editing (20%): Create, edit, and publish posts, stories, reels, and short-form video.
  • Photography & videography (15%): Film and photograph events, highlights, and engaged learning for digital channels.
  • Story development & interviews (15%): Interview students, faculty, and alumni to capture authentic digital stories.
  • Content calendar & ideation (15%): Maintain a content calendar, brainstorm ideas, and support campaign planning.
  • Event coverage & recaps (15%): Capture content at events and produce recap posts.
  • Social media management (10%): Schedule and monitor content, manage engagement, and support calendar management using Sprout Social.
  • Analytics & reporting (10%): Track performance metrics and support basic reporting to guide strategy.
