Make a difference in students’ lives by providing vital social work services in a supportive school environment. This full-time, onsite assignment offers the opportunity to work directly with students and staff, helping to promote wellbeing and remove barriers to learning. You’ll collaborate with a multidisciplinary team and play a key role in creating a positive climate for students across the 2026–27 academic year.

Key Qualifications:

  • Current NYS School Social Worker Certification required
  • Active LMSW or LCSW license in New York
  • Previous experience supporting students in a school setting strongly preferred
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to adapt to diverse student needs and collaborate with educators and families
  • Commitment to confidentiality and ethical best practices

What You’ll Do:

  • Deliver direct counseling and social-emotional support to students across various grade levels
  • Perform risk assessments and crisis intervention as needed
  • Consult and collaborate with teachers, staff, and parents to address student barriers and enhance social functioning

  • Maintain accurate records and timely documentation in accordance with district guidelines
