As a full-time employee, you will maintain a standard work schedule but may occasionally need to work evenings and weekends to accommodate special events or programs.

• Conduct thorough assessments to identify the social, emotional, and psychological needs of clients, utilizing standardized tools and interviews to gather comprehensive information.
• Provide individual and group counseling sessions using evidence-based therapeutic models, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Trauma-Informed Care, to address diverse client needs.
• Develop and implement tailored service plans that align with clients' goals and objectives, ensuring to monitor progress and adjust interventions as needed.
• Advocate for clients' rights and help them access available resources, ensuring they have the support necessary for effective coping and growth.
• Collaborate with community organizations and government agencies to enhance services, share knowledge, and develop outreach programs aimed at addressing systemic social issues.
• Engage in program development, evaluation, and reporting as part of our commitments to continuous improvement and accountability.
• Participate actively in team meetings, training workshops, and community outreach activities, fostering teamwork and professional growth.

The LCSW will work primarily with a diverse client population that includes individuals and families facing various challenges, including mental health issues, trauma, and socio-economic barriers. Our clients often come from marginalized backgrounds, and the social worker will play a crucial role in facilitating their access to vital resources, empowering them to improve their quality of life.

• A Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited institution is required.
• Current and unrestricted state licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).
• Strong understanding of social justice principles and advocacy techniques.
• Excellent communication skills, with an emphasis on empathy and active listening capabilities to build rapport with clients.
• Ability to work independently while managing multiple client cases effectively.

• A minimum of two years experience in a non-profit or similar setting, providing mental health support to individuals and families.
• Familiarity with trauma-informed care practices and community resource navigation.
• Experience in contributing to grant writing and program evaluation efforts.
• Knowledge of local community resources available to clients, particularly within the Sparks, Nevada area.

This full-time position offers a competitive salary ranging from USD 75,000 to 100,000 per year, complemented by a sign-on bonus.
