The Opportunity
 

In this role, you will shape how a power grid services organization plans, tracks, and delivers commercial performance across North America. You will design and run the sales operating model that supports service agreements, upgrades, and lifecycle solutions for critical grid infrastructure. Your work will bring clarity to pipeline health, forecasting discipline, and performance visibility, enabling teams to respond effectively to evolving customer needs and operational priorities. By connecting digital tools, data, and standardized processes, you will help improve how service opportunities are identified, tracked, and converted into executed work. This position offers exposure to the full commercial lifecycle in a power grid OEM environment, where your contributions directly support reliability, modernization, and long-term asset performance across utility and industrial customers.
 

How You'll Make an Impact
 

  • Define and maintain a scalable sales operating model to support service business growth across North America

  • Establish governance for pipeline management, forecasting cadence, and performance tracking across teams

  • Develop KPI frameworks, dashboards, and reporting tools to improve visibility into commercial performance

  • Monitor pipeline accuracy, conversion rates, and key performance metrics to support informed business actions

  • Enhance adoption and effectiveness of digital tools, including CRM, SAP, and data platforms, to improve sales execution

  • Identify opportunities to streamline workflows and introduce automation to improve efficiency and scalability

  • Maintain data standards and consistency across systems to support reliable forecasting and planning

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Sales, Finance, IT, and Portfolio Management to align priorities and execution

  • Responsible to ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines


Your Background
 

  • Candidate must already have work authorization that would permit them to work for Hitachi Energy in the United States

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Business, Engineering, Data Analytics, or related field (Master's preferred)

  • 10+ years of experience in Sales Operations, Commercial Excellence, or Business Operations

  • Experience building and scaling sales operating models and KPI frameworks

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Power Platform tools (Power BI, Power Automate, Power Apps) and SharePoint

  • Working knowledge of CRM platforms (SFDC), SAP, and data-driven performance management

  • Experience working in a cross-functional, matrixed environment with multiple stakeholders
