Job description

This role is on a 12-hour rotating shift, including nights, days, and weekends.

What we are looking for:

  • Minimum: High School Diploma/GED.
  • Forklift experience preferred
  • Manufacturing facility experience preferred
  • Must be able to meet the physical requirements of the role – including lifting 50 lbs, standing for long periods of time, and completing repetitive tasks
  • Ability to work in a collaborative, fast-paced environment
  • Ability to problem solve and identify safety hazards.

  • Pay starts at $21.17 per hour and will increase to $22.67 upon completion of certifications within the 6-month probationary period, plus a profit share/gain share program

In this role, you would:

  • Handling, stacking, and grading of material up to 18ft in length and weighing up to 50lbs repetitively.
  • Continuous wrapping and sub-bundling of material and stacking of millwork for shipment.
  • General cleaning of work area and surroundings.
  • Banding together units at the end of each production run.
  • Monitor quality of product, equipment, and safety and working with supervisor as issues arise
  • Use a tape measure and miter saw to cut runners and side boards to the proper length for banding.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to move freely throughout the facility, including climbing stairs and ladders, and navigating around equipment and machinery.
  • Ability to bend, stoop, and crouch as necessary to inspect and maintain equipment.
  • Capability to lift and carry materials and equipment weighing up to 50 pounds.
  • Ability to perform physical tasks that involve lifting, pushing, pulling, and carrying heavy objects.
  • Endurance to stand and walk for extended periods, often in environments with dust, chemicals, high noise levels and varying temperatures
