HOW WILL YOU HELP DRIVE THE FUTURE OF NATURAL GAS?

As a Enterprise Operations Coordinator you will play a key role in supporting the systems, technology platforms, and operational processes that power our field operations. You will partner with operational leaders, technical teams, and business stakeholders to improve performance, drive technology adoption, deliver training, and support continuous improvement initiatives throughout the organization.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys solving business challenges through technology, collaborating across teams, and helping employees adopt new tools and processes that improve operational effectiveness.

WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEEDReqired
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Five (5) years of experience supporting business systems, operational technologies, process improvement initiatives, or complex operational environments
  • Experience training users, supporting technology implementations, or coordinating operational programs
  • Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work effectively with employees, leaders, vendors, and technical teams
Preferred
  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Technology, Communications, Human Resources, or related field
  • Experience within the utility, energy, construction, or industrial sectors
  • Experience with asset management, work management, or enterprise business systems
  • Familiarity with SAP S/4HANA EAM, Asset Manager, Field Service Manager, or similar platforms
  • Knowledge of project management, business process improvement, and change management principles
PRIMARY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Deliver and support training programs for operational technologies and business systems in both classroom and field environments
  • Coach and support employees in the adoption and effective use of business systems and operational processes
  • Assist with implementation and continuous improvement of strategic technology initiatives
  • Partner with Operations, Training, IT, and business leaders to drive successful adoption of enterprise systems
  • Support incident management, issue resolution, and enhancement requests related to operational systems
  • Analyze business processes and identify opportunities to improve efficiency, standardization, and user experience
  • Coordinate cross-functional communication, reporting, and training efforts
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, company policies, and operational standards
  • Assist with organizational change management activities related to technology deployments and process improvements
  • Build relationships across departments to ensure operational needs are effectively supported

EMERGENCY RESPONSE REQUIREMENTS

TECO Energy and its companies provide critical services to our communities during emergencies and natural disasters. Team members may be required to participate in emergency response and recovery efforts to help maintain operational continuity and customer service.

The successful applicant will be required to take and pass a Baseline Medical Examination as part of the pre-employment screening once an offer has been accepted. A pre-employment drug screening, as well as a background check (including education, employment, criminal and motor vehicle) will also be conducted as part of the pre-employment screening.
