For over seven decades investor-owned utilities, municipalities, cooperatives, and others have entrusted their electrical construction and maintenance needs to Davis H. Elliot Company, Inc. (Elliot).
Elliot is a full-service electrical contractor specializing in overhead and underground distribution, transmission, substations, lighting, traffic signaling, utility locating and industrial/commercial services.
Job Description
Communications technicians will complete data and fiber optic installations. As part of the day-to-day responsibilities you will be completing the following:
  • Pulling, termination, and testing horizontal data cables.
  • Fitting out communications rooms in new and existing spaces.
  • Installing, terminating, splicing and testing fiber optic cables.
  • Operating tools and equipment according to company and OSHA safety procedures.
  • Ability to work in commercial, healthcare, and industrial environments.
  • Supervision and training of communications installers and/or apprentices.

Qualifications
  • 4+ Years of experience recommended.
  • Own your own hand tools.
  • Must be able to pass criminal background check and drug screening.
