Job description

Detailed Description:

  • Performs and completes all essential functions required of Level 3 Electronics Technicians.
  • Coaches and mentors entry-level and lower-level electronics technicians.
  • Demonstrates knowledge of all related tools and software.
  • Uses engine and transmission diagnostic software effectively.
  • Troubleshoots complex hydraulic and pneumatic problems.
  • Diagnoses and resolves complex control system issues.
  • Troubleshoots and repairs complex engine and transmission electronics.
  • Tunes and edits control software settings.
  • Performs installations and system upgrades.
  • Utilizes SAP to create and update work orders.

Job Requirements:
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Ability to read, write, and speak English to follow and issue verbal and written instructions.
  • Proficiency in simple mathematical calculations.
  • Advanced knowledge of sensors used in oilfield electronics.
  • Completion of FOCUS training upon hire.
  • Meets Competency Task List requirements and completes Equipment Maintenance Task List.
  • Performs work independently and provides assistance to other employees as directed.
  • Maintains eligibility to drive company vehicles.
  • Participates in all company-provided training.
  • Adheres to customer and company policies, procedures, and applicable regulations.

Language Comprehension:
Must understand and speak English at a level sufficient to issue, receive, and respond to both safety and operations-related directions.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Education: High School Diploma or GED. Associate's degree or applicable experience preferred.
  • Experience: 4-7 years.

Licenses and Certifications:

  • Valid Driver's License.
  • Commercial Driver's License (CDL) preferred.
