Job description

Performs series of significant duties in UAB Print/Mail Departments in accordance with United States Postal Service (USPS) regulations and University policies. Operates various types of postal and printing equipment including but not limited to copiers, folding, inserting, labeling and metering mail. Receives and sorts large quantities of USPS permit mail, UAB campus mail and packages mail for delivery. Determines services required to properly prepare large mailings for addressing and distribution. Performs operator maintenance and minor repairs on postal and printing equipment as required. Has thorough understanding of USPS postal guidelines relating to preparation and presenting bulk mail projects. 

Salary Range: $ 15.00 - $19.50

High School diploma or GED required and one year of related experience in print and/or mail. Work experience may NOT substitute for education requirement.

  • Post Office experience
