Overview:
Xerox is seeking a customer-focused and detail-oriented Mailroom Associate to support daily mailroom and office services operations. In this role, you will be responsible for the accurate processing, distribution, and delivery of incoming and outgoing mail, packages, and business documents while ensuring compliance with company procedures, security requirements, and service level agreements (SLAs). You will play an important role in maintaining efficient mailroom operations and delivering an exceptional customer experience.

What You Will Do:
  • Receive, sort, distribute, and deliver incoming mail, packages, and courier shipments.
  • Process outgoing mail and shipments using approved mailing and shipping systems.
  • Prepare, package, and label materials for domestic and international shipments.
  • Review mail requests and supporting documentation to ensure accuracy and completeness before processing.
  • Operate mailroom equipment, including postage meters, scanners, printers, and shipping systems.
  • Maintain accurate shipment records, tracking information, and delivery confirmations.
  • Assist customers with package tracking, delivery inquiries, and mail-related support requests.
  • Coordinate with vendors, couriers, and internal departments to resolve delivery issues.
  • Maintain mailroom inventory, supplies, and organized work areas.
  • Support document scanning, digital mail processing, records management activities, and other operational projects as assigned.

What You Need to Succeed:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Basic computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office applications.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to lift and move packages weighing up to 50 pounds.
  • Previous experience in a mailroom, print services, logistics, shipping, records management, or customer service environment is preferred.
  • Experience with FedEx, UPS, USPS, courier shipping systems, digital mailroom operations, scanning, or document management is considered an asset.
