Collaborating closely with Client Services and Product Marketing, team members spearhead the implementation of both new and established product offerings and packages. About the role

Roku is seeking an Ad Operations Associate to join our growing Sponsorship team. In this role, you will help facilitate the launch and delivery of campaigns while ensuring compliance with standard processes and quality assurance practices. This position is highly cross-functional and will use a combination of 3rd-party and proprietary platforms to traffic highly customized, complex executions to drive user engagement across the Roku Ecosystem. This individual will have a strong desire to increase their technical prowess within the organization. Β 

This individual will work well in a fast-paced environment and be a natural self-starter and team player. Β The ideal candidate isn't a bystander. They are curious, hungry, and engaged, willing to jump in to solve problems and make data-driven decisions even when things feel very ambiguous. Our industry changes quickly, so we expect a great candidate to be comfortable responding quickly to emerging business needs. Β 

This position works with the Senior Ad Operations Sponsorship team members and reports to the Senior Manager of Ad Operations, located in Boston, MA. This role is based in our Boston, NYC, or Santa Monica office. Β 

For Massachusetts Only - The estimated annual salary for this position is between $94,500 - $115,000 annually. Compensation packages are based on factors unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, certifications, and specific geographical location. This role is eligible for health insurance, equity awards, life insurance, disability benefits, parental leave, wellness benefits, and paid time off.

What you'll be doing
  • Build and launch custom ad experiences using proprietary toolsets and technical systemsΒ 
  • Effectively act as a liaison between Brand Activation Managers, Client Services, Product, Engineering, and Technical Operations teams using clear and consistent communicationΒ 
  • Steward discussions with Client Services and Brand Activation Managers to ensure a seamless campaign launchΒ 
  • Contribute ideas to help enhance our proprietary tools and systems to drive forward productivity and team effectivenessΒ 
  • Collaborate alongside Senior Ad Operations peers to support the rollout of Custom Ad Experiences and new Ad ProductsΒ 
  • Accountable for the management, launch, and QA of high-profile and time-sensitive campaign launchesΒ 
  • Use 3rd party tools to ensure creatives running in our ad servers are following our ad specificationsΒ 
  • Consult with Product Managers and Engineering teams to determine the technical feasibility of new campaign launch tactics Β 
  • Proactively identify situations in which technical issues need to be escalated for investigation and take initiative to do soΒ

  • 2-3 years of experience in digital ad operations or QA at a publisher, an ad tech company, an ad agency, or an ad networkΒ 
  • Expertise with GAM and digital ad serving tools for video and displayΒ 
  • Experience in display and video advertising with a premium publisher or agencyΒ 
  • Expert organization, attention to detail, and time management skillsΒ 
  • Familiarity with Salesforce Β 
  • Inquisitive, proactive, and process-oriented person with experience adhering to processes and standardsΒ
