Position Overview
We are seeking a UX Designer to work with product teams to design and deliver high-quality, client-centered, effective, consistent, and usable interfaces, in a hybrid role at your choice of Peoria, IL or Chicago, IL. You will work closely with business analysts, business stakeholders, product owners, and dev teams to obtain and understand business requirements, creating user interface specifications by applying customer/dealer research, design standards, and industry best practices while balancing strategic business objectives, user needs, and systems constraints.
In this role you will be supporting the evolution of the Customer Experience (CX) portfolio, roadmap, and reference architecture. You will interact with a cross-functional team to drive customer experience strategy and best practices, helping implement applications and platforms while maintaining a cohesive end-to-end experience.
Key Contributions & Responsibilities
  • Participate in design review sessions with product teams, acquiring consensus and gaining approvals on designs and documentation.
  • Work with the product owner to ensure deliverables accommodate project timelines, budgets, and technical and scope constraints.
  • Act as a user experience advocate regarding principles of user experience and user-centered design.
  • Support the production of concept service designs and/or participate in the creation of artifacts by domain architects, implementing personas, journey maps, storyboards, and similar deliverables.
  • Participate in project delivery, working through obstacles across multiple teams, roles, and organizations through diligent planning, attention to detail, communication, and efficient decision-making.
  • Collaborate effectively with CX architects, technical architects, and data/content owners to define elements needed to deliver the experience.
  • Stay current with innovative improvements and processes in the broader experience design field.
Team Structure & Work Environment
Your main workspace is alongside 2-3 other UX Designers, reporting to the Product Owner and working closely with front-end and back-end development leads. You may also interact directly with dealers, end customers, Global Product Owners, Marketing/Product Support Managers, and Directors across internal and external organizations.
