Role description

  • Develop and update customer ready PowerPoint presentations that are consistent with the brand and technical communication standards.
  • Design intuitive user experiences for Power BI reports, web applications, mobile apps, and low-code platforms using modern design principles and AI-enhanced tools.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including engineers, analysts, and stakeholders to deliver high-impact design solutions.
  • Translate concepts into wireframes, prototypes, redlines, and high-fidelity mockups using Figma, Adobe XD, and Canva, enhanced with AI plugins and features.
  • Utilize Figma AI plugins (e.g., Magician, Wireframe Designer, FigJam AI) to accelerate ideation, generate design components, and automate repetitive tasks.
  • Use Adobe Creative Cloud AI features such as Adobe Firefly to create compelling visuals and layouts.
  • Use Microsoft Designer for quick, AI-assisted graphic creation and layout generation tailored to business needs.
  • Apply Canva’s AI tools (e.g., Magic Design, Magic Write) to rapidly prototype marketing visuals, presentations, and UI mockups.
  • Create information architecture, task flows, and data visualizations that support user goals and business objectives.
  • Design and prepare print-ready graphics for events, including flyers, posters, and signage.
  • Solve design challenges with creativity and precision, using a full-stack approach (interaction, usability, visual design, HTML/CSS, Power BI, Power Apps, Power Pages).
  • Stay current with design trends, accessibility standards, and emerging AI technologies in UX.
  • Work in Agile teams, contributing to user stories, sprint planning, and iterative testing.
  • Continuously solicit and incorporate feedback to improve design quality and user satisfaction.

Minimum qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in interaction design, user-centered design (UCD), or a design-related field
  • Proven track record in the creation of interaction models, screen designs, and UI details that promote ease of use and optimize the user experience for reporting.
  • Portfolio demonstrating UX/UI experience in web, application, and/or reporting design (Power BI and/or Tableau).
  • Demonstrable ability to do wireframing, prototyping, storyboarding, and redlines.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud (XD, Illustrator) and Figma for creating wireframe, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups
  • Ability to create and refine PowerPoint presentations that meet corporate branding and communication standards
  • Experience designing print-ready materials such as flyers, posters, and event graphics
  • Experience with creative tools that offer AI-driven functionality
  • Knowledge of UX best practices, design techniques, user interface design patterns, and standard UCD methodologies
  • Excellent communication skills within cross-functional teams
  • Ability to explain design processes and concepts i.e., why a design works or why it doesn’t.
  • Exceptional visual design skills with a focus on high-quality deliverables
  • Self-directed, confident, and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to balance speed and quality when managing competing priorities.

  • Bachelor’s degree in interaction design, new media design, or design-related field
