Position Overview:
Within product management, the category operations group integrates data and develops intuitive solutions to assist internal and external customers navigate the most comprehensive marine propulsion portfolio in the industry, offering products from prop to helm. This work delivers valuable information, builds knowledge, and supports aligning products to customer application.
Configure Price Quote is a vital platform to enable integration and sales of complex marine propulsion systems. The configuration solutions manager will focus on expanding product offerings within CPQ, improve system integrations, and enhance usability and performance to support Mercury's channel partners.
You will collaborate with a diverse cross functional group including product integration and engineering, product managers, sales, service, and IT partners to translate business requirements into high quality CPQ solutions.

Essential Functions:
CPQ Configuration & Development
  • Design, build, and maintain product models, rules, and configurations within Oracle CPQ
  • Support ongoing product launches and changes within the configurator
  • Add and maintain engine, controls and rigging, and accessory product configurations with complex dependencies and constraints
  • Develop pricing logic, validations, and guided selling experiences

Integration & Data Enablement
  • Build and maintain integrations between Oracle CPQ and downstream/upstream systems (e.g., CRM, ERP, pricing, product data sources)
  • Support data flows for product attributes, pricing, and configuration outputs
  • Troubleshoot and resolve data and integration issues

UI / UX Improvements
  • Improve configurator usability, performance, and responsiveness
  • Partner with product and UX resources to implement user-focused design improvements
  • Reduce friction for internal and external users through simplified workflows

Quality, Support & Continuous Improvement
  • Perform testing, debugging, and performance optimization
  • Support production issues and provide root-cause analysis
  • Contribute to documentation, standards, and best practices
  • Help reduce technical debt and improve long-term system maintainability

Required Qualifications:
  • 3 + years of hands-on Oracle CPQdevelopment or experience with similar CPQ type programs
  • Strong experience with:
    • Oracle CPQ product modeling
    • Configuration rules and constraints
    • Pricing and proposal logic
  • Proficiency in CPQ scripting (BML, JavaScript, SQL)
  • Experience integrating CPQ with enterprise systems (CRM, ERP, product data systems)
  • Ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions
  • Experience working in Agile or product-oriented delivery teams
  • Strong problem-solving and debugging skills
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related technical field

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience supporting complex, configurable products (manufacturing, automotive, recreation, or industrial products preferred)
  • Experience working on guided selling, personalization, dynamic upsell/cross-sell solutions
  • Familiarity with UX/UI best practices in enterprise applications
  • Knowledge of Oracle CPQ Commerce, Configuration, and Integration modules

The anticipated pay range for this position is $86,500 - $126,800, annually. The actual base pay offered will vary depending on multiple factors including job-related knowledge/skills, relevant experience, business needs, and geographic location. In addition to base pay, this position is eligible for an annual discretionary bonus.
At Brunswick, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top end of the salary range for their role. Compensation decisions are dependent upon the specifics of the candidate's qualifications and the business context.
