Job description

Overview:

As a Senior UX Product Designer, you’ll support the engineering and product teams in transforming innovative products into seamless and creative user experiences.

You’ll take the lead of the end-to-end product design, from onboarding to support. You’ll need to collaborate with all parts of the business - product, engineering, music and external teams - to learn about our users and ultimately design an experience that fits our brand and fosters community.

Responsibilities:

  • Transform complex technology into easy, intuitive experiences for users
  • Create mock-ups, prototypes, wire-frames and other design deliverables
  • Work with product and engineering teams to build a user experience for both external and internal users
  • Take ownership of the user experience design and advocate for users and their pain points
  • Present work to Senior Leadership and clearly communicate design rationale, process and decisions while collecting feedback.
  • Take lead in planning user testing initiatives to educate design decisions and understand user pain points
  • Help build a design foundation that can easily scale to a larger design team as we continue to grow
  • Intake conceptual product requirements and transform them into a usable design that addresses business goals.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 5 years of design experience with a user-facing product across desktop and mobile
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Experience with music products or music creation software a plus
  • A portfolio showcasing creative and exciting UI/UX experiences
  • Passion for user-centered design and creating a delightful user experience that fosters an engaged user community
  • Expert skills in Figma or other relevant design tools.
