To thrive as a Senior AutoCAD Designer, you need advanced proficiency in AutoCAD, strong drafting and design skills, and typically a degree in engineering, architecture, or a related field. Familiarity with additional CAD software (like Revit or SolidWorks), industry-specific standards, and relevant certifications (e.g., Autodesk Certified Professional) are frequently required. Excellent problem-solving, attention to detail, and effective communication are standout soft skills for collaborating with teams and clients.
