Used Car Technician

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Used Car Technician to join our service department. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in automotive repair, be Ford Certified, and thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

Responsibilities
  • Perform work specified on repair orders efficiently and accurately

  • Diagnose, maintain, and repair vehicle systems including:

    • Engine, transmission, steering, suspension, brakes, electrical, A/C, and more

  • Test-drive vehicles and use diagnostic tools/special equipment to troubleshoot issues

  • Communicate with Service Advisors to explain repair needs and provide accurate time estimates

  • Execute warranty repairs according to manufacturer specifications


Qualifications
  • 1+ years of Service Technician experience (preferred)

  • High school diploma or equivalent

  • Previous Ford dealership experience preferred

  • Strong diagnostic, electrical, and engine repair skills (B-level qualifications)

  • Proficiency with electronic diagnostic equipment

  • Excellent customer service and communication skills

  • Positive, team-oriented attitude with eagerness to learn

  • Strong hand-eye coordination and mechanical aptitude

  • Ability to adapt to new technology and repair procedures

  • Valid driverโ€™s license and clean driving record
