Job description

Under direct supervision of the Clinical Manager, and as directed by physician, provide for excellent patient care through the assessment of patients' cardio-pulmonary status, by set up and operation of various types of respiratory care equipment to be utilized in the diagnosis and treatment of respiratory disease and/or illness and by interdisciplinary team member collaboration.

Minimum Education:
Associate Degree in Respiratory Therapy, bachelor's degree in respiratory therapy preferred.
Minimum Experience/Knowledge:
1-2 years of experience working as a Respiratory Therapist in an Acute Care Hospital setting preferred.
Required License/Certification:
Valid California Respiratory Care Practitioner License. RRT and CRT Licensure required for employees hired 11/01/19 or later.
NRP, BLS, ACLS, PALS certifications required from the American Heart Association.
Annual AB 508 Certification. If no card upon hire, one must be obtained within 30 days of hire or transfer into the department and maintained by renewal before expiration date

The hourly rate for this position is $46.97.
