Job Description:

This roll will be responsible for instructing participants in the rules and techniques of gymnastics.
Examples of Duties:
  • Develops, promotes and coordinates lessons, instructional programs, and clinics.
  • Instructs recreation classes as well as team instruction.
  • Choreographs routines or classes.
  • Monitors the progress and development of the athletes.
  • Assists other organizations (schools, etc.) with lessons and teams.
  • Maintains record keeping and other financial record for instructional program(s).
  • Monitors the condition of equipment.
  • Will require travel on weekends to team events.
  • Applies skill progression to all recreation participants, spotting techniques and guidelines as outlined by USAG.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
Basic Qualifications:
  • Associate's degree (AA/AS) in a related field and 4 years related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Ability to earn First Aid & CPR certifications within 6 months of hire.
  • USA Gymnastics Safety Certification.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Rec Trac software knowledge.
Other Necessary Requirements:
  • May require evenings, weekends, and holidays as scheduled.
