Army Human Resource Specialist (MOS 42A) – U.S. Army

Full-time | Part-time | Enlistment Required | U.S. Citizenship or Green Card Required

Enlistment Requirements:
  • Must be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident alien.
  • In good physical condition.
  • In good moral standing.
  • High school graduate or equivalent.
Overview:
Army Human Resource Specialists perform personnel and administrative functions supporting all military members regardless of rank or classification. They ensure the readiness, health, and welfare of all soldiers.
Qualifications and Training:
  • Minimum ASVAB scores: 100 General Technical (GT), 90 Clerical (CL).
  • Must qualify for Secret security clearance due to sensitive information.
  • 10 weeks Basic Combat Training (BCT).
  • 9 weeks Advanced Individual Training combining hands-on and classroom instruction.
