CTR Group is seeking MARINE DIESEL MECHANICS at a Government site in the Williamsburg, VA, area. 5 immediate openings and urgently hiring!

Pay Range: $30.32 - $35.41 per Hour and Benefits.

We are Seeking:

--former Watercraft Engineer-Army

--former Engineman-Navy

--Machinery Technician-Coast Guard

--Or civilian with extensive work in marine diesel equipment.

SUMMARY:

Seeking Machinery Maintenance Mechanics. Former military welcome. Minimum of five years of experience in marine operations, with emphasis on offshore experience and pollution spill response. Six years of experience in the maintenance and repair of diesel driven machinery, hydraulic systems, and related marine salvage equipment and experience in maintaining equipment during marine operations

REQUIREMENTS:

  • High School graduate or equivalent
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in marine operations: offshore experience & pollution spill response
  • 6 years’ experience in the maintenance & repair of Diesel-powered machinery, hydraulic systems and related marine salvage equipment.
  • Experience in maintaining equipment during marine operations
  • Clean background and valid driver's license required
  • Performs after hours, weekend and emergency response services as required to include overnight travel.
  • Will handle weights up to 100 pounds, average of 50 pounds.
